Mechanical Layout Design

Mechanical design means the design of components and systems of a mechanical nature - machines, products, structures, devices and instruments. Mechanical layout design refers to the arrangement of all equipment, machinery, and furnishings within a building envelope after considering the various objectives of the facility. The layout consists of production areas, support areas, and the personnel areas in the building.


The mechanical layout plan plays a vital role at the time of machinery installation process. Any industrial manufacturing plant contains variety of machinery & equipment. Without proper mechanical layout plan, it is not possible to install those machinery & equipment properly on appropriate location balancing the element of space, energy, people and process.
